Dear Friends and colleagues,
The IASL governing council was very excited earlier this year to announce the launch of its first stand-alone congress in Dubai on 11-13 February 2018.
This ambitious project that aims at bridging the gap from specialists to generalists, focuses on the translation of principles of identification and management of liver disease starting in the primary care setting.
Facing several logistical issues in relation to the organization of this congress, IASL took the difficult, but necessary, decision to postpone the project and re-evaluate different options to ensure delivery of an interesting, relevant and world-class meeting in the best conditions possible.
As a result, the congress in Dubai will no longer take place.
While we understand the disappointment it may cause, please rest assured that the governing council is actively working on the new plans to hold the 1st IASL congress, and will make all efforts to keep the scientific programme the same as announced.
IASL values your interest in this project, and we sincerely hope that you will continue following IASL activities and updates.
You will be informed on any progress, and we count on your presence at the congress once the new date and location will be announced!
Thank you for your understanding.
Keep me informed of IASL activities
